In 1991 I graduated cum laude in Electronic Engineering, with specialisation in Computer Science (5 years course). For my dissertation I cooperated with the Faculty of Psychology and produced a videogame aimed at the diagnosis and rehabilitation of disabled children.
I was then selected by the London International Film School for a 2-year course in the art and technique of film making. During this period I won the Adam Sedwick Award for best students and my graduation documentary was awarded a Special Mention at the Munich Film Festival in 1993 (with Wim Wenders President of the Jury).
From 1993 to 1996 I worked as freelance video producer and I was also project manager for the University of Padova for a feasibility study aimed at reorganizing their Audiovisual Centre.
In 1994 I started cooperating with Pavan Group, a world leader in the sector of food plants, and in 1996 I joined the company as Corporate Image and Communication Manager. In this role I managed operative marketing and promotional activities for the companies and branches of the group in Italy and abroad.
In 1998 I attended the Management Development Program at SDA Bocconi in Milan and started to be involved in the management of Montoni, a company of the Pavan Group that designs and manufactures dies for pasta.
In the period 1999-2001 I was the Managing Director of Montoni in Pistoia and managed a reorganisation of the company.
From 2001 to 2003 I was the Marketing Manager of 4P Mobile Data Processing (ruggedised handheld computers) gaining experience in the field of operative and strategic marketing for professional mobile devices. I then worked as Marketing Manager for Serai (security systems and home automation).
In 2003 I joined Thetis as Project Manager for the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Division and was involved in various international projects.
In 2006 I was appointed Operations Coordinator, with the responsibility of supervising all ITS projects, and in 2008 I became the ITS Division Director. In this role I developed the ITS business and a new range of hardware and software products for the management of public transport.
In 2012 I decided to start my own business as ITS consultant, and I have been involved in various international projects as project manager and business developer.
